8 engineering students of PTE MIK visited our company with the contribution of South West Hungarian Engineering Cluster. The students visited our company in the frame of Case study course. We introduced our plastic injection molding technology.
One of the main aims of the South West Hungarian Engineering Cluster is to help the co-operation between the regional companies and educational institutions. This is the reason why MIK Körber Technologies Outer Department launched Case study course, where the students can get to know the local engineering companies. The students can get to know the life of work, the presentations are hold by experts with great experience extended by factory visits. After Spitzer Silo Pécs Ltd. and Strauss Metal Ltd. our company received the group in Pécsvárad. The engineering students of PTE MIK could see all steps from mold planning to finished part packing. After company presentation, our Mold Plant Manager, David Gangel introduced the parts of injection molds and the technology with the help of a modeling program. Afterwards the students visited the factory, where our COO, Szabolcs Kresz and our Deputy Mold Plant Manager, Olivér Tóth showed the production processes for example the production of Samsonite suitcase plastic parts.
