Our company was teenage – 15 years old – when we could go one step further in the quality hierarchy. Those who want to become an automotive supplier and be in Tier 2 and Tier 1 position have to fulfill strict quality requirement continuously. We could prove it by ISO/TS 16949:2002 certificate. The first audit was a big challenge for us, because it wasn’t only about our capability for quality production but also that we could do this every day permanently. We also had to do PSA (Plant System Audit) test, which measures and monitors the production security and stability of the whole company. First, we got C level, but after some years we got A level. Nowadays these requirements are natural in our everyday operation but when we launched it in our teenage, we knew that we played with the big boys in big ground.
